Perched at an elevation of 11,550 feet in the upper Indus River valley, Leh serves as the administrative and cultural heart of the Union Territory of Ladakh. This remote, high-altitude town is surrounded by the dramatic peaks of the Ladakh Range, offering a unique blend of ancient Tibetan-influenced heritage and modern Himalayan life.
